Central Pacific Costa Rica

The province of San Jose contains most of the central pacific Costa Rican prime real estate areas, such as Los Suenos, Jaco, Quepos and Matapolo.

Los Suenos is surrounded by many large rainforests and the beach front is dotted with many luxury homes. A number of condos located close to the Marriot International hotel also find place on the beach. Many of these upscale properties have been designed by renowned Costa Rican architects. These well-designed homes fit remarkably well into the natural landscape and offer grand view of the ocean and the verdant surroundings.

Tennis, canopy and horseback riding apart, kayaking, fishing and golf are some of the main leisure activities that are popular in Los Suenos.

Some of the building ocean view lots are sold with golf courses and the advantage of buying one of them is total privacy as there are no neighbors in the vicinity. There are also for sale European style condominiums that give high level of privacy for residents. Some of them have features like manicured lawns and state-of-the art furnishings. Some of the condominiums are described as open concept and are also catching up among buyers.

Los Suenos is also famous for its family homes that are far more affordable than the condominiums. Built-in security systems and ready to use kitchens and swimming pools are the attractions of these homes.

Jaco is a key beach town with ample tropical vegetation. It is popular as a surfing resort in the region. The restaurants, bars and nightclubs are as favorite a destination for the locals as is the beachside with its spectacular sunsets. The newly developed highway to San Jose makes the journey from Jaco to the capital of the country less than an hour's drive.

The fully occupied Costa Linda condominium venture is a pointer to the popularity of Jaco. Taking the cue, many other condo complexes have been competed in the area and they are sold as completely built, accessorized and furnished units. Large tracts of vacant land that offer charming ocean and mountain views are also being promoted in Jaco.

In Quepos, the regions close to and abutting the Manuel Antonio National Park are being promoted as great spots to purchase large ocean view houses. They are many little islets and bays in this region which make it a tranquil environment for those wanting a quiet home spot. Similar deals can be found in Matapolo.
