Tamarindo, Costa Rica recently hosted the Jungle man beach endurance race. The setting is truly spectacular, some of the nicest shoreline in the world. I feel as if I AM the Jungle Man; I am proud to tell you that I just finished it.
A 22 km run from Tamarindo Costa Rica to Lolas beach restaurant and back along the beach!. Wading thru chest deep water at the estuaries. Blisters from the salt water in your shoes. Deep deep Langosta sand that sucks the life energy from you through the soles of your feet. 32 degree full on sun that evaporates your very will to continue. Running across volcanic rock and reef when your legs no longer belong to you. The glorious views made it all worth it. We ran past the Hacienda Pinilla development with their mega million dollar beachfront homes, past the world class golf course, and past the JW Marriott, all along absolutely deserted pristine white sand beaches. If this is how I spend my time off imagine how hard I am going to work for you on a weekday to find your ideal beach property!
