When you arrive, you will be greeted by the incredible sounds of the jungle. The home is completely immersed in a primary rainforest with a year-round creek running through the property. This is a brand new modern home with stunning ocean views, an infinity pool, and all of the amenities.

Casa Serena offers two unique outdoor experiences. The front of the home will amaze you with ocean views beautifully framed by the jungle, stretching as far as Manual Antonio. You will look forward to your morning coffee or tea ritual in one of the cozy and generously sized modern lounge chairs, admiring the stunning views.

It is full sun in the afternoon in the front of the home making spending time poolside in the infinity pool is a must!

Of all of the wonderful qualities this property has to offer, the sunset is spectacular and can be enjoyed almost year-round. The rich colors of the deep green jungle, the giant palms towering off to the side, and magnificent views of the sun sinking into the Pacific are mesmerizing. With your favorite cocktail or a glass of wine, you will wish it could last a lifetime. You will certainly carry this feeling with you forever as you leave a piece of your heart behind.

The rear of the home offers a different experience. Here you are submerged in the lush primary rainforest with only the sounds of the creek, and tropical birds flying overhead. A beautiful yoga deck is situated adjacent to the creek next to a towering majestic tree. This is the perfect place for your yoga practice or meditation. You can also enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor tub beneath the jungle canopy. This experience is enhanced if you soak in the evening under the stars and moonlight.

The rear of the home also has a large space to dine, barbecue, or relax and read a book. It is a great place to escape the heat of the afternoon sun.

The home itself is a modern 3-bedroom home. The home is fitted with high-end custom-made furniture, luxury memory foam mattresses, luxurious bedding and pillows, and original artwork. The mattresses and bedding were carefully selected to ensure a luxurious night’s sleep. The furniture, linens, and art found in this home were selected with attention to supporting sustainably made products from family-run mills, companies that care for the environment, and small businesses.

Each room is themed to offer a unique experience for guests and has its own air conditioning unit. Two of the rooms have a private bath, while the third bedroom shares the main bath. The Jungle Room master bath contains glass walls that overlook the jungle and creek. Bathrooms are stocked with towels, body soap, and a hairdryer. The water pressure is exceptional. The third bedroom (while attached to the home) has its own entry keeping this suite completely private from the rest of the home. This room cannot be accessed from the main area of the home. Each of the rooms has plenty of storage so you can settle in and make yourself at home.

The main area of the home is also air-conditioned. The internet signal is typically strong and reliable. You will be able to enjoy most of your favorite programs or movies on Netflix and have the capacity to zoom into virtual meetings. The furniture was carefully selected to ensure your comfort and relaxation. All of the amenities of the home are available for your use.

This home has a maximum capacity of six (6) people. The home offers the perfect experience for adults or families with older children. This home is not suitable for small children.

At Casa Serena, you will be delighted to discover an abundance of wildlife, including a resident sloth that will enjoy hanging around with you to the right of the property. You will also enjoy a variety of tropical birds and butterflies, with regular visits from toucans, crested guans, hummingbirds, and blue morphos. On occasion, you may also be treated to a visit from a group of white-faced capuchin monkeys!

Access – the home is situated in a lovely quiet neighborhood close to Dominical in the Puntarenas province of Costa Rica. Guests would fly into San Jose, Costa Rica, and from there either drive, for approximately 3 hours or take a small plane to Quepos. The flight from San Jose to Quepos is approximately 30 minutes and Casa Serana is approximately 40 minutes from the Quepos airport. The home is situated approximately 1,000 feet above sea elevation.
