For years and years for other then surfers Playa Negra has been basically an off the beaten path location As a consequence of the famous phrase "bad roads bring good people" an amazing community has grown here. The roads are being taken care of and soon the paved road will extend all the way into and past town (geez, it is just under two miles) (it isn\'t getting to Avellanas just yet - sorry guys).
