This lovely 1,000-square foot house is located on 7,020.25 sq. meters near the pueblo of Concepcion Agua Buena, a quiet and peaceful neighborhood about 10km from San Vito, 2km from San Francisco, 6km from Agua Buena in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica in the canton of Coto Brus. It’s located at 4,300 feet, so it stays a pleasant 68-80 degrees year round. (If you want the muggy heat, the coastal beach towns are an hour to hour and a half away.) The house has been completely rewired to American standards.
This area is a birdwatcher’s paradise. The San Vito Bird Club (http://sanvitobirdclub.org/) offers lots of opportunities from just bird watching to volunteering in lots of educational programs.
The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen with custom-made cabinets and a full bathroom. The “master bedroom” is accessed from the balcony (as is the living room).
The downstairs to this house was originally designed to be a backpackers’ bunkhouse. It could be converted to a money-making apartment OR it could be a great place for your friends and family to stay, allowing each of you privacy. It’s a lovely space, where the tropic foliage reaches in with its peaceful, lovely caresses. This space has its own toilet and shower, a small apartment frig, and an outside sink and cooking space.
