Playa Negra has been considered an off the beaten path location up until recently. Generally, it was a place where surfers came and went in a day. However, in recent times, it has been somewhat discovered by some. Fortunately, growth in this beach mecca has been metered and slow. This has allowed for the area to flourish but maintain its authenticity at the same time. It is still a place where you can find a nook beach, be alone almost all day, and in high season. Where can you find this within an hour or so to an international airport? It probably doesn't exist most anywhere else around the planet.

There are plethora of restaurants with unbelievable food from a one star Michelin chef who settled in the area to your local Costa Rica sodas. There is plenty to do as well far beyond surfing.

This pristine lot has a spectacular location. It is about a mile to the paved road to all points and about a mile to at least five distinct beaches....Playa Negra, Playa Callejones, Playa Blanca, and a couple of those nook spots as well. Since this is an estate lot the building footprint here allows for a 10% total residential footprint with one home of 3230ft2 (one or two stories)...these are the new building codes for agricultural lots. The gov't also allows for another 15% of construction strictly dedicated to agricultural use which would include barns, silos, worker homes, etc.
