Immersed in the lush tropical forest with an abundance of wildlife, including white-faced monkeys and toucans. Meditation benches are set among nature for relaxation and reflection. Hiking trails lead to the nearby waterfall for a refreshing soak in crystal fresh waters.
The retreat embraces sustainable operations and was awarded the prestigious Certificate for Sustainable Tourism from the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism. Pure onsite water source, retaining tanks, solar energy, recycling, irrigation system, composting are in place; as well as high speed fiber optic internet. The organic vegetable gardens, hydroponic greenhouse, a plethora of fruit and herbs and free-range chickens for eggs are served farm-to-table at the gourmet restaurant on-site.
The wellness center offers massage, energy therapies, spa services, nutritional consultation, detox programs and integrative herbal medicine with expert practitioners. The breath-taking, open air yoga pavilion with 270° views of the mountains and lush jungle valley has a small bar and kitchen for refreshments and can accommodate up to 50 people. Your quests will relax in the 5 beautifully appointed, private, 2-bedroom, villas, each with its own outdoor patio that can accommodate up to 20; as well as, lounging around the infinity pool. The main building hosts reception, dining room and lounge, kitchen and manager’s suite with 3 bedrooms and an office. There is also a 2-bedroom employee casita.
