Mountain Retreat with River Frontage in Chimirol de Rivas

The pueblos of Rivas, consisting of Chimirol, Canaan, and San Gerardo, at the foot of Cerro Chirripo, Costa Rica's highest mountain, have long been popular with ex-pats. This comfortable home in Chimirol has about 200 meters of river frontage on the beautiful Rio Chirripo. The property under survey is 5,246 square meters (1.3 acres), but there is an additional area of around 3,000 square meters that is in the protected zone along the river banks. While the protected area is not available for construction, it is an area that will be exclusively enjoyed by the owner and provides easy direct access to the river, with a nice and flat private rock beach, great swimming holes, and fishing. San Isidro de El General is the second-largest city outside of the GAM of the central valley (the area that includes San Jose, Alajuela, Heredia, and Cartago). Here you can find anything you need, including great public and private medical care and even a mall with cinema!.
