This villa comes with a 2-car garage with electric garage door openers (with extra storage space available) and extra parking for guests. The interior of the villa is an open-concept with a sunken living room and dining room area and cathedral ceilings. There is also a large opening with fan allowing for maximum air-flow inside the villa helping to keep it cool and dry thru-out the year. All rooms have recessed ceilings with numerous pot lights, both inside and outside, plus a chandelier for that 'special' ambiance in the grand entrance. The master has a large walk-in closet (or office) area. There are many wood details throughout and a newly-designed teak kitchen. It is a beautiful villa with a grand stone, double-door entrance, beautiful ceramics thru-out and very large windows to let the cool breezes in, 24 hrs a day. It has been upgraded with an efficient, on-demand gas, hot-water heater. The oven is a modern combination gas/electric unit for efficiency and ease-of-use. Each room has a ceiling fan and large breathing vents for improved air circulation. Swimming in the pool in one direction provides the ocean views and in the other, has gorgeous views of the mountains, directly behind. The pool is gorgeous with custom-tiling work and a stone facing to match the grand entrance. It is beautifully landscaped to coordinate with the flora, fauna and jungle.
Because of the efficiencies (on demand hot water heater, gas oven, gas barbecue, upgrades re cabinets, air-flow improvements, etc.) in most areas, the maintenance and up-keep is minimal. There is a 100 lb gas tank with a 35 lb as back-up in the gas house. This allows for very inexpensive living in Costa Rica and also self-sufficiency during any unexpected power outages.
This is a perfect hideaway for nature enthusiasts and bird-lovers alike, or just a place to 'chill out' and get away from it all while still being close to the world-famous beaches in the area (Playa Ballena, Playa Ventanas and Playa Tortuga, to name a few). While it is a very private and extremely quite location, opportunities fine dining, needed stores, gas station and outdoor fun and activity opportunities are very convenient.
