Designed and constructed as a second home by the owner (a Swedish architect living in the US), Casa Sevana is a work of love. It offers first-rate quality construction, entirely built as a monolith, using reinforced concrete. The owner’s attention to detail during design and construction (managed daily by the architect/owner) has been meticulously maintained since completion. That effort expanded to the placement of the now-mature landscaping, lawn and garden areas – all designed to maintain not only the amazing views, but also to create and enjoy the privacy of your very own secluded Tropical Paradise – including the large pool, outdoor shower, entertainment area, garden and covered grill area.

The first level of the home has a nicely sized welcoming entry area with direct access to two bedrooms, a full bath, the laundry, owner’s lock-up room, storage area and stairway access to the second level. Each of the downstairs bedrooms is equipped with air conditioning, large closets and sliding glass doors leading to the view, pool, terrace and garden.

On the second level you will find the air conditioned third bedroom/study and a full bath, both opening onto a large, high ceiling open plan lounge and dining area, all adjacent to the spacious kitchen, complete with high-quality stainless-steel appliances, fixtures and fittings. All of these areas enjoy the great garden and ocean views and have direct access to the large upstairs exterior patio via sliding glass doors with screens.

Casa Sevana is graced with exotic woods that have been tastefully designed and incorporated, by a master carpenter, into ceilings, cabinetry, closets, doors, dining table and stairway treads. The home is offered fully furnished, in a contemporary Scandinavian style, and also includes all custom-made window coverings, required maintenance tools and equipment.

The exterior of the home is fully fenced with metal entry gates – one for visitors and friends, and the other is a “driveway” gate that accesses an area large enough to accommodate parking for 2-3 vehicles in a secure, off-street area. Every detail was carefully considered, including the placement of the pool, the outdoor shower, the grill, and even the access to the underground two-stage septic system.

The house can be made totally secure using the metal gate system that was carefully designed and installed on each patio area in the original construction. These metal gates are designed to open completely allowing free access.

The home is very successful rented outside owners’ visits and enjoyed by enthusiastic guests and their families, many returning time after time.
