Casa Surf was, for many years, a simple hostel. The owner has moved down surf to chase different waves. One of his best friends is living here and taking care of the place until sale. Getting permits to once again allowing this to become an income earner will be easy as the bureaucratic authorities have all the pertinent information about the property.

The In's and Out's
Casa surf has four simple bedrooms and three simple baths. A few of them are furnished with bunk beds and the others are furnished as private suites with beds and baths. There is a large laundry room just behind the reception area which today includes a kitchen, bar, large sitting area, and tables. This is the second use of the hostel which could obviously be converted into a private residence. At the rear of the construction is the master bedroom area and a communal outdoor kitchen and sitting area. Above this is an enormous area that could also be converted into a large dorm with at least 20 beds.

The owner of this property has signed an option to buy the surrounding land around the property which would enable much more construction or your private home around the business. This would make the property one quarter acre. This would add an additional $50K to the price.

The area
Avellanas is long known as one of the jewel beaches of Guanacaste. Historically, it was very difficult to get to because the road were, well, deplorable. However, a project to add a true gravel base has kept it transitable throughout the year and the municipality has shown that it wants Avellanas to grow by fixing the road to almost new condition twice each year. World famous Lola's restaurant is here along with single family homes and a plethora of restaurants and small boutique hotels. Avellanas has electricity, internet, telephone, 4G cel towers, and this property has public water.
