Casa Terraza is a charming and luxurious home which combines privacy, views and a central location at an amazing price. The home gets its name from its spacious patio with in-built infinity pool, surrounding vistas and a tropical garden below. It is situated on a hillside with expansive sea views, in an area of Manuel Antonio referred to as Las Brisas because it is bathed in gentle sea winds. The home is nestled into its own tropical garden with a host fruit trees including - mango, papaya, soursop, lime, and banana. You can wake up to the calls of howler monkeys, observe the white-face and (endangered) squirrel monkeys, sloths and colorful birds from your patio. Many birds, including toucans, drink from the pool! Jasmine, frangipani and Elang-Elang trees emit wonderful perfumes at dawn and dusk.

The property is only a short distance from the world-class Manuel Antonio beach and park. Buses in either direction (to Quepos or Manuel Antonio) are a 3 minute walk away. There are plenty of international and local restaurants in the area. You can take a different nature hike every day in the hills nearby, or to beautiful La Macha beach a half hour walk below. Cool off with a swim in the sea when you get there in a protected bay where you will be lucky (or unlucky) to see another human being!

Renovated in 2006, Casa Terraza is based on the concept of harmony with Costa Rica's natural surroundings, and typically uses native materials throughout. The construction is hand-crafted from teak and cedar by local carpenters.

The house is fully equipped with state of the art facilities, including 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, atrium with pull-out sofa bed, kitchen with large gas stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and micro-wave, modern air conditioning and overhead fans, and a barbeque on the patio. The master bedroom is a full suite with its own sea views, featuring a walk-in closet, shower and Jacuzzi, and a large private balcony. A covered owner’s parking spot is located below the house and ample parking is available for guests.

A separate, fully equipped apartment is located on the ground floor of the house which accommodates 3 people comfortably and rents very well.
