Villa Necochea is one of the original villas in the Escaleras/Dominica area. Designed originally as a B&B or small boutique hotel, it is now being offered as a luxury vacation villa due to numerous requests from previous guests. Its spacious design and ability to host a large group comfortably with all the amenities of your own home away from home makes a perfect place for family and office reunions, small weddings or enjoying a vacation with your favorite people. Villa Necochea is located on the pacific coast of Costa Rica, just south of Dominical, nestled in the Escaleras Mountains. The 1000 ft. above sea level elevation allows for its cooler temperatures with dramatic ocean and rainforest views. Dominated by the rainforest of Escaleras and surrounded by two year-round streams. You can sleep and wake to the sounds of the jungle. The howler and capuchin monkeys, coati mundi, sloths and extensive variety of birds, toucans, trogons, Mott Motts, parrots, tanagers (too many to list) makes it a haven for bird and wildlife enthusiasts. Our outdoor decks include swimming pool with various sitting areas for cooling off and taking in the lush tropical surroundings. Chase lounges and tables for sun-bathing and enjoying afternoon cocktails by the pool. Stainless steel gas barbeque and outdoor picnic tables perfect afternoon and evening pool experiences. For indoor entertainment ther is karaoke at the bar. In the air conditioned den there is Direct TV, DVDs (enjoy our selection or bring your own), books, various board games, darts and hook ups for your own play station. If you need to check emails or do some catching up the office has internet connection for your own lap top computer. Villa Necochea comes secure with its own security system and electronic gate so you can feel confident while away on your daily excursions. William, our English/Spanish speaking care taker comes daily and can assist you in planning activities or any questions you may have regarding the villa. Maid service is available up to three days a week for additional charge.
