773 acres of startling beauty encompassing a plateau of virgin rainforest with astounding views looking out to the valley and the entire south and central Pacific coastline. Las Lajas directly borders large protected lands encompassing thousands of acres to include Refugio Boracayen, Fila Tinamastes, Tree of life, and within close proximity of Reserva Oro Verde, Coopeuvita, and Hacienda Baru wildlife refuges. And is strategically, and importantly located in the heart of the path of the Tapir.
The Path of the Tapir extends from the Osa peninsula in the south pacific of Costa Rica all the way to Manuel Antonio National Park and the Savegre river basin.

The boundary of Las Lajas runs the rim of the near vertical lush rainforest face for approximately 3 kilometers with draw dropping views down into deep verdant valleys with with views of the rivers running toward the sea and incredible coastal island views.
There is a small farm house and a minimal area that has been worked in pasture and cultivated crops.

The springs born within Las Lajas feed the headwaters of the Diamante and Higuron rivers which both rivers drop vertically off the face creating two of Costa Rica's most elegant waterfalls. Definitely a pleasant surprise for those who have been fortunate enough to encounter either up close!
