Casa Ojos Azules is not just a house… it’s an experience. Casa Ojos Azules, (Blue Eyes) is a completely secure estate, with a private security booth and guard, at the front gate. Sitting on a quiet ridge, just above Playa Guiones, within the Planet’s few BLUE ZONES, there are views of both Guiones Beach, and Rosada Beach, from every part of the house. As well as, South East Mountain Views from the second floor. Walk down your private road to the 506 TENNIS CENTER, to hit the tennis courts, or walk down another private road, to the lower garden, which can also be used for a daily exercise, walk, or hill run. You can feel at ease knowing your kids can walk down to tennis, without ever having to step off the property, or go on the main road.

Enter through the security gate, and up a private drive, into a front parking area or drive around the house to the attached two-car, open-air garage, under the house. Upon entering the house, through the large wood, swing-style main door, you are immediately greeted with a complete, unobstructed, jungle canopy, and stunning ocean views. There is also a private front garden area with an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach or surf session.

There are FOUR MASTER BEDROOMS, (three on the second floor, one on the main floor), all with private, state-of-the-art bathrooms. All the bedrooms have king-size beds. Two of which can be converted into two twin beds. Every room has a unique, luxurious design, Including, a sitting area, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, that lead to an outdoor terrace. Perfect for morning coffee, and taking in those incredible OCEAN VIEWS. You can enjoy the in-room air conditioning, or just enjoy the fresh mountain breeze, that flows through each room. There is also a very secluded, and comfortable additional sitting/reading area, with a couch and table, tucked away on the second floor terrace, equipped with high-speed WIFI, for possible work or relaxation in the shade, all while having OCEAN and MOUNTAIN VIEWS

The FIRST FLOOR MASTER SUITE has an outdoor garden, with a private outdoor shower, and a hammock area, surrounded by palm trees.

On the MAIN FLOOR, an entire wall of sliding doors offers you a choice between open fresh air, or air conditioning. The living room has two full couches, and a 70” Samsung Smart TV, equipped with Cable, Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu access. There is a bathroom on this floor, a laundry room, with a full-size Whirlpool Washer and Dryer, and a food pantry.

The KITCHEN, overlooking the pool, has a granite countertop island, large enough for friends to gather and prepare meals on the four-burner cooktop. It is fully equipped with filtered drinking water, Kitchen Aid Cookware, Kitchen Aid Cutlery Set and Cutting Boards, Cuisinart Kitchen Appliances, Cuisinart Toaster, Ninja Blender, Cuisinart 12 Cup Coffee Maker, and Coffee Bean Grinder. There is a complete set of fine dinnerware for 12, along with Red and White Wine Glasses, drinking glasses, and high-end plastic wine and drinking glasses, for poolside or lower sun deck use.

With Two Dining Areas, you can enjoy your meals inside or outside, as both provide stunning views. There is also a separate BUTLERS KITCHEN, ideal for those wanting to hire a local Chef, to prepare meals, while leaving the main kitchen area open for socializing. Our OUTDOOR DINNING TERRACE and LUXURIOUS LOUNGE AREA provide shade, during the warmest part of the day, and has a one-of-a-kind, Guanacaste Wood Dining Table, that seats 12, where you can enjoy your meals and breathtaking sunsets.

There is also a BBQ AREA on this pool deck level, with a large gas grill.

Our LAP POOL is perfect for that daily swim, floating on a pool chair, or just hanging and relaxing on the teak lounge chairs. The POOL overlooks a large, LOWER SUN DECK, with lounge chairs and umbrellas, perfect for that mid-day nap, with both pool and lower deck
areas providing stunning ocean and sunset views. At night, this LOWER SUN DECK area is great for socializing and having drinks under the stars.

With a maximum occupancy of 8, Ojos Azules can accommodate four adult couples, each having a luxurious ocean view room with king size bed, single family with kids, multi-family, chosen family, retreats, and special occasions, with ease. For larger groups, other houses in
the 506 property, within walking distance, can be added to your booking and can readily accommodate 2-3 additional families.

WHO WE ARE
James has lived in 506 for the past 10 years and has been in the Playa Guiones community for the past 15 years. Building Casa Ojos Azules was his dream, on his dream piece of property from the moment he set his BLUE EYES upon it. A Captain, with 35 years, in The New York City Fire Department, he shares his time between the fast city life, and the peaceful serene setting, which he describes as “paradise on earth”
here in Playa Guiones. Surfing, running on the beach, or on the property, staying in shape and enjoying the clean and
healthy lifestyle of town inspires him to return time and time again. “Living in a BLUE ZONE, in a jungle setting, amongst the Howler Monkeys, and watching breathtaking, daily sunsets, is an unbelievable natural experience.” Rosa, who has been traveling down to Costa Rica for the past 10 years, is a New York born, Actress of Stage and Screen. Her family, originally from The Dominican Republic, understands and loves being part of the Pura Vida Lifestyle. A yogi for over 20 years, She embraced the large Yoga community in Nosara, and practices Yoga daily at The Bohdi Tree Yoga Resort, which is just down the road.
